“A beautiful plant. It looks very real and one of the best I've seen.”
From our stylists
Why we love it
Begonia rex is the kind of houseplant that turns heads on Instagram and then quietly dies in most people's living rooms. It wants consistent humidity, indirect light and soil that's moist but never wet. Get any of that wrong and the leaves crisp, curl or drop. This version removes all of that entirely.
Each leaf is broad and asymmetric with deeply veined patterning that shifts from silvery green through to darker forest tones, edged with flashes of pink and burgundy along the margins.
The colour isn't uniform across the plant either. Some leaves lean more silver, others carry more of that warm reddish edge. That inconsistency is what makes it look alive.
The stems are a natural reddish-pink, rising from a bed of realistic moss in a small, weathered ceramic pot with a rough, aged finish. At 45cm tall and 65cm wide, it has real presence on a side table, bathroom shelf or bedroom dresser without taking up too much surface space.
It's the sort of plant that makes a room feel more considered. And unlike the real thing, it won't punish you for going on holiday.

Our florist's picks
Hand-picked to work with this plant, plus some others you may like.
“Is that real?”
The question our customers hear most.
“Unless you get up really close, you cannot tell that it is artificial. It has already fooled people, and when I’m watering my plants I have to remind myself that it doesn’t need watering!”
“Absolute showstopper. People have commented thinking it was a real plant. Just perfect for my lounge—tall, elegant and so realistic. Love it!”
“The most stunning orchid. It is incredibly realistic and the pot itself is so pretty. I’m enjoying it on our outdoor table, where it is far too hot and sunny for real plants or flowers to thrive. It looks utterly fabulous!”
“My husband was quite sceptical at first, but once it arrived we both agreed it was definitely worth the money. The ivy looks very realistic, with lovely detail on the leaves.”
“It sits on a little shelf in a darker part of my cloakroom where real plants don’t thrive. It looks so real and is just beautiful.”
“A beautiful plant. It looks very real and one would find it difficult to tell it from the real thing. Some of the very best artificial plants I have seen.”
