Why we love it
Seven stems, seven shades, and every one is a different flower. The colour runs from the palest blush pink through to fuchsia, burgundy and red, with three peonies and four roses covering the full range between them.
No two stems are the same variety or the same tone, which means each one reads individually rather than blending into a wash of pink.
The peonies bring the bigger, more layered heads. A pale pink classic, a brighter pink and a fuchsia that adds the most vivid punch in the arrangement. The roses are more structured. A blush tea rose with hand-curved petals, a deeper red tea rose, a burgundy English rose and a pale pink bud that's still partially closed.
The mix of open blooms and tighter buds gives it a natural feel, like they were cut at different stages rather than all at once.
At 52cm with no greenery, it's a concentrated hit of colour that works best in a slim glass vase where the stems are visible and the focus stays entirely on the flowers.
