As we celebrate the one-year anniversary of our company's transformation from Amaranthine Blooms to The Faux Flower Company, we wanted to reflect on our journey from the seed of inspiration to where we are today.
Join us as we delve into the history of our company, exploring its evolution and the reasons behind our rebranding decision.
Amaranthine Blooms: Where it all Began
To truly understand the journey of The Faux Flower Company, we must start from the very beginning. Our story begins with Amaranthine Blooms, the foundation upon which The Faux Flower Company was built.
Founded in 2013 by Janey Dillon, it all began with a simple idea - to bring the beauty of nature indoors with stunning faux florals that would stand the test of time. Janey chose “Amaranthine”, (the old English word for 'eternally beautiful') to reflect the longevity of faux flowers that makes the company unique.
Amaranthine Blooms quickly gained recognition for its lifelike realism and unparalleled craftsmanship. With dedication and passion, we cultivated a brand beloved by floral enthusiasts worldwide. With each passing year, Amaranthine Blooms expanded its product offerings, introducing new collections and designs. From Classic Artificial Flower Bouquets to Contemporary Faux Arrangements, each creation reflected our commitment to quality and beauty.
Becoming The Faux Flower Company: The Re-Brand
As Amaranthine Blooms continued to flourish, we realised that our brand had evolved beyond the confines of 'blooms' to encompass a broader vision.
In her own words, Janey Dillon, CEO and Founder of The Faux Flower Company, expressed the driving force behind the rebrand:
And so, marking Amaranthine Bloom's 10-year anniversary, The Faux Flower Company was born - a name that perfectly reflects our mission, our values, and our vision for the future.
We embarked on a new chapter, taking this opportunity to reaffirm our core values of quality, expertise, customer promise, as well as our commitment to sustainability.
In addition to the reusable aspect of our products, we took significant steps to ensure that we were providing a sustainable solution to fresh flowers and reducing waste and minimising emissions wherever possible.
We made changes to ensure all our packaging is plastic-free and all cardboard entering our warehouse is re-used within the packing process, making this a completely plastic and waste free process, even the tape we use is made from recycled materials!
